Join author and illustrator Grace Laemmler for the launch of her children’s book Skylar’s Adventure Across Canada at MakerBean Café on Sunday, May 31 from 2–5pm!

Come and read the book, enjoy a book signing, and take part in a fun drop-in animal collage workshop inspired by the illustration process used throughout the story.

Bring dad, a friend or yourself and make you own laser engraved coffee cup sleeve!

On Saturday June 13th, we'll be hosting a Leather making workshop with @mr.greensworkshop.

In this 2 hour workshop, you'll get a cafe drink and we'll customize your sleeve with the laser engraver then dye and learn how to rivet the leather sleeves.

Awesome personalized touches throughout our wedding!
They added one of a kind elements to our wedding such as designing a unique alternative to the traditional guestbook and whimsical table numbers to tie back to our venue. We were also really happy to have the Maker Bean on-site at our reception lasering custom coasters and luggage tags for our guests. It was very entertaining for our family and friends to see the laser machine create their favours live - they still talk about it!

I took one of their intro to laser cutting classes and it greatly exceeded my expectations. The class was super accessible to all levels of experience and was BEYOND fun. We loved designing our own coasters and it was incredible to watch them print!

Maker Bean is an awesome place for everyone!
Our child has done many camps here so we decided to host a group of friends and our Minecraft party was so much fun! The staff were really focused on making sure all kids were engaged and having fun the space was set up in a way that made sure everyone was safe as well. Maker Bean is a gem of a place, you should go there!
